Since my sister told me about the program that helps young
on volunteering my attention rose up.
I searched on the website and founded on Portugal, in a
small village called Viana do Castelo, that needs help about what i was
studying.
The association as you know aims to create and develop
social, cultural, sports and artistic activities for the youth, particulary in
the area of leisure time, volunteering, cooperation and training, promoting and
improving their access to information, their social integration, civic
participation and equality between men and women.
All of this in a few ways fit into my philosophy, since back
on Spain I took care about child, on Cruz Roja España as a volunteer.
With these said and a few of paperwork, the association give
an opportunity to work with then.
I am at Viana with other members as me, volunteering. When i
arrived they were very kind and care about me, the day after they gave me a
free day to explore where i live and the surrounds, the place is calm and also
cold, so if you are planning to go here bring coats and blankets.
The first day at work they gave me an splendid welcoming.
We were playing around, to me right now it's difficult to
communicate with the child but when we are playing we don´t need it at all.
Also as a Spanish guy, my culture and learning are shared
with everyone.
In conclusion I think one part of me will stay here, when I
´ll leave. So let's make a great time.😉
